É uma pena que o Brasil ainda tenha pouquíssimas opções de estudo para quem se interessa por livros, seja do ponto de vista histórico, bibliográfico, editorial etc. O campo é mesmo pequeno, mesmo no exterior. A Universidade de Edimburgh, na Escócia, lançou agora uma pós-gradução muito tentadora, Material Cultures and the History of the Book. É um tanto parecida com a que vou começar daqui a um mês, em Leiden. Talvez um pouco mais histórica, não sei. Mas quanto mais, melhor.
It's a pity that Brazil doesn't have much options for who wants to study about books, in any point of view, historical, editorial... The field is very small even abroad. Now the University of Edimburgh launched a course called Material Cultures and the History of the Book. It seems a little similar to the one I will start to attend in one month, in Leiden. But it's always good to see new options!
